A student who obtains a cumulative grade point average (GPA) below 2.0 in the first term will be put on academic probation. For details, please refer to Clause 13.0 \u201cUnsatisfactory Performance and Discontinuation of Studies\u201d of the General Regulations Governing Postgraduate Studies, which can be accessed from the Graduate School Homepage: http:\/\/www.cuhk.edu.hk\/gss.<br \/>\nNo more than 3 units may be taken at undergraduate level (4000) and these will count toward the minimum course units for graduation only if the student achieves a course grade of B- or above.<\/p>\n<p>\nRemarks<\/p>\n<p>If a student fails a course, s\/he must enroll in an additional 3-unit course and receive a passing grade in order to complete the degree.
