CCS Mid-Autumn Festival Activities

To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival this year, the Centre for China Studies is organizing the following events for all CCS students to reunite and get to know each other on this special occasion!

CCS Mid-Autumn Festival Activities 中秋聚中研

Date: 20 September, 2021 (Next Monday)

Time: 15:00-19:30

Venue: Room 1120, Centre for China Studies, 11/F YIA

A) Lantern Workshop 巧手製花燈
Design your own lantern! A signature of your Chinese name will be provided to calligraph on your lantern, you may add Chinese painting or words on the lantern.
Session 1: 15:30-16:00
Session 2: 18:30-19:00
No. of participants: 10 students per session

B) Talent Show 才藝表演
You are invited to show us your talent! Singing, dancing, Instrument playing or show us the Mid-Autumn celebration in your hometown. Live or video performance are accepted, videos must be submitted to CCS after successfully registered. (instructions will be sent accordingly)

Price: A $50 Book voucher will be rewarded for each performance

 

C) Solve the Lantern Riddles 謎 ‧ 語
20 Lantern Riddles in Chinese and English will be set up, riddle as a medium for language exchange! The more riddles you can solve, the bigger prize you can get! Book vouchers as the prize for your bilingual talent!

D) Festive Treats“兔”嚐饼
Mini mooncakes with different tastes, Come and pick your favourite one! White rabbit creamy candy (all provided in individual packing) for your take away!

E) CCS Photo Booth  IG打卡@CCS
CCS Photo Booth/pros are ready at your service! Take your picture here and check in on your social media.
