My research interests lie in ethnic minority higher education, and questions of cultural identity and social inclusion. I focus particularly on my hometown, the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, and explore how recent education policies affect the preservation of Yi cultural heritage and local ecological sustainability.
