{"id":3738,"date":"2021-06-25T10:25:22","date_gmt":"2021-06-25T02:25:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ccs.cuhk.edu.hk\/?page_id=3738"},"modified":"2026-10-26T11:26:50","modified_gmt":"2026-10-26T03:26:50","slug":"admission-requirement","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ccs.cuhk.edu.hk\/tc\/admission\/ma-in-chinese-studies\/admission-requirement\/","title":{"rendered":"\u5165\u5b78\u8981\u6c42"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"qtranxs-available-languages-message qtranxs-available-languages-message-tc\">\u5bf9\u4e0d\u8d77\uff0c\u6b64\u5185\u5bb9\u53ea\u9002\u7528\u4e8e<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccs.cuhk.edu.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/3738\" class=\"qtranxs-available-language-link qtranxs-available-language-link-en\" title=\"ENG\">ENG<\/a>\u3002<\/p><p><\/p>\n<p>In order to qualify for admission into the Programme, applicants must:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Have an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university overseas, in mainland China, or Hong Kong, with honours not lower than Second Class or an average grade of not lower than &#8220;B&#8221;; and<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 2. \u00a0Fulfill the English Language Proficiency Requirement by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>obtained a degree from a university in Hong Kong or taken a degree programme of which the medium of instruction was English; or<\/li>\n<li>submitting the original score reports\/certificates of one of the following tests:\n<ul>\n<li>IELTS (Academic Module): overall result of at least 6.5;<\/li>\n<li>TOEFL: total score of at least 79 (internet based) or 550 (paper-based);<\/li>\n<li>GMAT: score for the component &#8220;Verbal&#8221; not lower than 21<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Priority will be given to applicants who demonstrate good English skills.
