His research focuses on frontier issues in Chinese Characteristics Socialist Market Economy, with a particular emphasis on the digital economy, emerging productive forces, as well as the policies and reforms in education, science, and talent development. He has participated in multiple major projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation of China, Commissioned Studies projects funded by National High-end think Tanks, and Provincial Soft Science Initiatives. He has co-authored more than ten policy consultation reports, several of which have received directives from ministerial or higher-level leaders or have been adopted by central government agencies. His academic articles have been published or accepted in core journals in China and internationally.
