黎晨教授是香港中文大學中國研究中心副教授和劉佐德全球經濟及金融研究所禮任研究員。他於北京大學獲法學(國際政治經濟學)和經濟學雙學士,此後於劍橋大學獲發展研究哲學碩士和哲學博士學位。他的主要研究和教學領域包括中國政治經濟、發展戰略、公共政策、制度改革和商業環境,涉及包括中國國有企業改革、公司治理、金融監管改革、資本市場發展、政企關係以及產業與區域發展政策在內的廣泛課題。他曾在The China QuarterlyRegulation & GovernanceWorld DevelopmentThe Pacific Review等領先國際學術期刊上發表研究文章。他的专著China’s Centralized Industrial Order: Industrial Reform and the Rise of Centrally Controlled Big Business由Routledge(倫敦和紐約)於2015年出版。

黎晨教授是香港中文大學中國研究中心大灣區研究項目的聯席負責人和香港中文大學全球中國研究計劃的成員。他還是香港國際金融學會(HKIIF)資深會員,並擔任《香港國際金融評論》的執行編輯。他曾在哈佛大學,柏林洪堡大學,布朗大學,加州大學伯克利分校,澳大利亞國立大學,新加坡國立大學和南洋理工大學等全球一流大學進行學術交流和講演。他曾是清華大學國家金融研究院(NIFR)金融與發展研究中心的訪問學者。在加入香港中文大學之前,他曾任職於新鴻基地產集團以及香港經綸國際經濟研究院(現為香港大學亞洲環球研究所)。他經常接受國際和本地媒體的採訪,其觀點廣泛見於《財富》、《華爾街日報》、《經濟學家》、《消息報》(俄羅斯)、《聯合早報》(新加坡)和《南華早報》等主流媒體。他定期為《中國日報》撰寫評論文章。
