MA Programme

Primarily taught in English, our MA in Chinese Studies programme provides a platform for the study of Chinese art, history, policies, film, society, international relations, literature, and more.

Students specialize by choosing either an arts and culture or social science stream, while still having the flexibility to take a wide range of China-related courses. This interdisciplinary approach prepares you for jobs in media, business, finance, education, arts, government or non-profit organizations.

Programme objectives:

    • understand how different disciplines shape and how knowledge is produced in the field of Chinese Studies;
    • have experience in research activities and an understanding of research ethics;
    • look at China from an interdisciplinary perspective and with an imaginative approach as they pursue their own particular career paths.
