The Centre for China Studies has launched a Greater Bay Area (GBA) Research Initiative (Click to know more) as part of the wide-ranging research into contemporary China at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). This brings together scholars and practitioners who work on different aspects of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). The goal is to promote research and engagement with policy makers, business community, and the wider public, through seminars and workshops organized by CCS with the support of a range of partners, and to showcase the work of CCS faculty on the GBA.
The Research Initiative is led by Prof LI Chen and Prof Tim SUMMERS at the Centre for China Studies. Initial funding for activities under the Initiative has been provided by a grant from the CUHK Faculty of Arts Project Impact Enhancement Fund.
